First of all I was never past due on any payments, I even payed after you told me you wanted to withdraw. You withdrew because I didn't want to continue paying 50 dollars per contact on the server that had the answers to the questions you already asked in previous questions. Second I didn't authori...ze you to disclose any details about my case, I'm anyomus here so I'm sure that's what you will hide behind but I find it unprofessional. Finally yes you were at the hearing where the judge ordered the payment "to the clerk" they wouldn't take my money on the ground floor so I mailed it to the address she said she lived at and when you finally uploaded the written instructions with a mailing address for the clerk I explained what I did and asked if I should cancel the check and write a new one to the clerk and your exact words were "he'll no",...imagine my surprise when 2 months later you seem shocked that I wasn't paying the clerk. In my honest opinion Samantha Thomas is a good lawyer that just has too many cases going at once.

We live out of state and depended on her to handle our case. We had not seen or talked to our granddaughter for a year and a half. We wanted to be able to call her and have her visit us. It seemed to take forever before we got a hearing, but the problem was with the opposition. We were able to get ...set times to call and a set schedule for visits. we we're told what to expect and nothing was embellished. While deployed I asked Ms. Thomas to delay hearing on a motion filed to dislocate my children to another state. Ms. Thomas proceeded with this hearing and my children were given permission to leave the state while I was deployed. Ms. Thomas failed to advise me that I had appeal right's in which I ...was unaware of until I hired another attorney and my children had already left the state. Per federal law, my rights as a parent serving in active deployed status was violated. The opposing attorney and Ms. Thomas attend the same law school together.

My husband and I hired The Thomas Law Firm in November of 2015 to do a Termination of Parental Rights case for our oldest daughter and her biological father. Samantha Thomas immediately took our case and filed all paperwork and set up all court dates for us. She and her staff were very communicative ...and no question was ever unanswered. Anything we needed to know about the case was forwarded to us. Our favorite thing was the MyCase website that you could log onto and check the status of everything. We also loved the fact that we could actually contact Ms. Thomas and that she would respond instead of having her staff communicate for her. They gave us an estimated time for completing the case and they followed through as long as we had met our parts as well. My husband, children, and I are on military orders to pcs to South Korea in June of 2016 and we needed the TPR case done before then so that we could obtain a passport for our oldest child. Her biological father refused to sign and did not want to communicate with us after numerous attempts so we gave up and pursued the termination. Our case was complete and the judgement was ordered in April of 2016. Everything went smooth and was quick and painless. I would definitely hire The Thomas Law Firm again if I ever needed them (hopefully I don't) but I know they would be a great choice and would get the job done. My advice to anyone seeking for an attorney for Termination of Parental Rights should hire Samantha Thomas. Be honest, provide all facts whether good or bad, be specific, and always communicate with them. Do not hire her or waste her time if it is a "revenge" type of case. Ms. Thomas is very professional and will not take your case if she feels those are your intentions.

I had Ms. Thomas handle my custody, child support, and divorce. When she took over my case from another law firm, I had already been going to court for over 6 months. When she took over the case she was very good at what she was doing. She always answered my questions and was on top of everything. Wh...en I met and paid the retainer, it was explained how the pay system worked. Yes, emails and phone calls cost money. But it is the same way with every law firm, and it was explained in the very beginning. I feel she was very fair and I feel like she did not only want my money. She worked very hard to get my case taken care of and fought for th things that I had wanted. I highly recommend her for anyone with these same issues.
