Before I paid Mr. Kelly a retainer, he was very easy to get a hold of. Once I paid, everything changed.... I hired him to help me with my divorce. At first, he did everything he was supposed to and responded to me (although not in a very timely fashion). After a couple months, I needed to ask h...im a few questions. I emailed him, called him, texted him to no avail. I waited for over a month- every now and again messaging him. After a while, I decided I should look for a different attorney as I was receiving no response from Mr. Kelly. I hired a new lawyer. He sent an email, called Mr. Kelly's office and sent him an official letter requesting my file. After he received no response, he started to investigate my case. He found out that Mr. Kelly never showed up for a court date on my behalf (and never notified me about this), causing me to lose the case.....!!! Now I have to start at square one with this new attorney, after having spent time, effort and money on Steven Kelly. I will be contacting the bar association. As if going through a divorce isn't stressful enough, without entrusting your case to someone who disappears after paying them........ Please go elsewhere for legal help, as you will not receive any from this guy and will probably end up in a worse situation of you do use him.

I hired Mr. Kelly to help me with a nasty divorce that I was going through with my ex. I was very thankful for the work that he did for me. I was able to get what I believe is a fair outcome of my case despite my ex. My ex was trying to not give me anything in our divorce, and I wasn't sure what t...o do. Mr. Kelly answered all of my questions, day or night, made me feel at ease, and helpful. I would recommend him to any of my friends or family who need help with their divorces. My case was in Atlantic County, NJ, and I live in Central NJ. Mr. Kelly was always willing to drive to my house to meet with me since he is based in Philadelphia and did not charge me for the extra travel time, which I was extremely thankful for since I do not drive. I just want to thank Mr. Kelly for all of his hard work over the last several months. My divorce was finalized a lot sooner than I expected and I know I wouldn't have been as happy without Mr. Kelly's help. I tried to handle it myself, but ultimately glad I made the decision to hire him.
