Jonathan has been working as an IP and trademark law expert for my startup company for a year (since 2011). Our $30+ million company is based in California, and has aspirations to sell our product worldwide.
He has been our lead for IP strategy, trademark infringement strategy and implementation, and international Internet domain name strategy and management. Our company lacks any internal counsel, so we are heavily reliant on outside legal experts (such as Jonathan).
Jonathan has done a great job for us. He is a true expert in both legal and business strategy in these areas. He manages us (as a client) very well, is responsive and fair, and communicates clearly in emails, documents, and spreadsheets.
Jonathan has been particularly helpful in thinking strategically about international Internet domain name and trademark issues. He has helped us prioritize foreign country markets based on language, geography, market size, registration costs, local presence requirements, and trademark registration requirements. He has helpfully provided cost estimates along with his recommendations, so we can debate and make recommendations. In sum, Jonathan has provided all the information necessary to make good decisions.
I recommend Jonathan without reservation.
