Thank you ALL for your support all these years! I appreciate the community that Avvo has connected but regretfully, I will no longer be practicing as a solo practitioner. I have transitioned to General Counsel of a very wonderful and community driven company.
I will truly miss this community and all the good work that myself and my colleagues have participated in. I wish you all the best in your future endeavors!

I pride myself on being an attorney who has the versatility and flexibility to make every client feel like they are my only client. I am passionate about Immigration Law because this area of the law largely reflect the ideals of keeping families together and achieving dreams of new opportunities.
I am a first generation Asian American. Although I primarily speak English, my first language was Cantonese and my second language was Mandarin. My parents raised me through the lens of the preserving working class immigrant, but I also navigated through life with the experiences and skills that I gained as a U.S. citizen growing up in New York. Because of my upbringing, I am able to successfully navigate the different language and cultural barriers of the American and the Immigrant because I belong to both worlds. My upbringing also provided me with an eye-opening insight and sensitivity to all the issues that my clients face in this country.
I offer quality, yet expeditious, services at a competitive and affordable rate. It is my promise to exhaust all of my efforts in order to resolve my client’s legal issues as quickly and successfully as possible.
I am young and motivated so I am able to work tirelessly to ensure the best result possible for your legal needs. In addition, I have trained under and worked with attorneys with over 30 years of experience.
As a law student in New York Law School, I was a clinician for Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of New York. During that time, I was able to assist a staff attorney by preparing successful petitions with United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) and preparing successful motions with the Executive Office of Immigration Review Immigration Court (EOIR).
Before going out on my own, I continued to master my skills in Immigration Law by clerking at a private firm. There, I honed my craft by participating in cases at various legal stages. I prepared and assisted in drafting documents such as FOIA requests, visa petitions, asylum applications, motions to the USCIS and the Immigration Court, requests for joint motions to reopen removal proceedings for the Office of Chief Counsel of the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (US ICE), and petitions for review as well as the accompanying briefs for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 2nd Circuit.
I strive to be a leader not only in my field, but in the community, as I graduated from New York Law School ('2014) with the American Law Institute - American Bar Association Continuing Professional Education Scholarship and Leadership Award and the Public Service Certification. I am also a pro bono attorney with Catholic Charities of the Archdiocese of New York and the Safe Passage Project, providing Immigration Pro Bono services to minors.
