Hired Marc to assist in the purchase of our first house. Throughout the entire transaction, he was never available for a telephone conversation, and we received a single email from him. Entire team was incompetent, weak and incapable of defending our interest. He and his office caused us immense str...ess from start to finish. Absolutely would not use again, and never recommend him to anyone

I was selling my house in 2018 in New Jersey. Unfortunately the first deal fell through. However, even though the deal was a bust, I was so impressed with Mr Cohen's professionalism that I decided to obtain his services again for any new offers. I think that says a lot that you are willing to go to t...he same lawyer even though you may have plenty of opportunities to go to someone else. Cost was definitely not a factor since Mr. Cohen's fee was slightly higher then other lawyers in his locale and field.

We had a lawyer that broke his leg and it seemed that something was going on with his ability to follow the process. Having only two weeks to close, we had to switch. I got Mr Cohen's contact from a friend who ensured me this lawyer is the best he worked with. We immediately learned that that he inde...ed is. Was all the time available to answer our questions, and, as the first home buyers, we had a lot of them. He responded to every question in a very clear way. He was able to solve one difficult case in the whole process, and patiently waited for our mistakes to be fixed. At the end everything was completed on time despite other lawyers we talked with were claiming it was impossible. I guess not with this lawyer :)

Marc Cohen and his team (especially Susan Davis) came highly recommended to us by our realtor. It's easy to understand the reason(s). They are a very experienced team who will provide valuable guidance when problems arise, as it did multiple times during the sale of our home. Experience absolutely... matters. They are first class when it comes to retaining legal services for a real estate transaction.

I did not realize how very fortunate I was to be recommended to Marc Cohen by my realtor in the sale of my father's home. In addition to being knowledgeable and professional, I was extremely impressed with his prompt responsiveness - I did not wait more than a half business day to hear back from him.... He is also a great listener! Upon engagement, he provided a publication on what to expect in the closing process that was very helpful and spot-on. As we approached the actual closing date, he provided direction on final steps i.e., cancellation of utilities, wire transfer instructions, etc., which kept the process on track. Throughout the process he was a good communicator so that I never felt uninformed on what was going on and next steps. His paralegal staff was very competent, very pleasant, and genuinely interested in making sure the transaction would take place as planned. I always felt that nothing would fall between the cracks with Marc's oversight. We were extremely pleased with the handling of the entire transaction. We cannot recommend Marc and staff highly enough!!
