Marc came highly recommended by a relative and by our Realtor. We hired him to represent us with the sale of one home and the purchase of another. Both transactions became quite complex due to extended inspection negotiations, title issues and problems with our and our buyer’s lenders. Marc and hi...s assistant, Susan, were there for us the entire way, answering all of our questions and guiding us through what became quite a difficult time. Marc guided us throughout and skillfully navigated through the numerous inspection, lender and title problems. His experience, guidance and responsiveness produced better then expected results and ended up saving us substantial time and money. We doubt whether either or both of our transactions would have survived in any one else’s hands. We will hire no one else for any legal needs and would highly recommend him to friends and relatives.

Hired Marc to assist in the purchase of our first house. Throughout the entire transaction, he was never available for a telephone conversation, and we received a single email from him. Entire team was incompetent, weak and incapable of defending our interest. He and his office caused us immense str...ess from start to finish. We had a lawyer that broke his leg and it seemed that something was going on with his ability to follow the process. Having only two weeks to close, we had to switch. I got Mr Cohen's contact from a friend who ensured me this lawyer is the best he worked with. We immediately learned that that he inde...ed is. Was all the time available to answer our questions, and, as the first home buyers, we had a lot of them. He responded to every question in a very clear way. He was able to solve one difficult case in the whole process, and patiently waited for our mistakes to be fixed. At the end everything was completed on time despite other lawyers we talked with were claiming it was impossible. I guess not with this lawyer :)

I did not realize how very fortunate I was to be recommended to Marc Cohen by my realtor in the sale of my father's home. In addition to being knowledgeable and professional, I was extremely impressed with his prompt responsiveness - I did not wait more than a half business day to hear back from him.... He is also a great listener! Upon engagement, he provided a publication on what to expect in the closing process that was very helpful and spot-on. As we approached the actual closing date, he provided direction on final steps i.e., cancellation of utilities, wire transfer instructions, etc., which kept the process on track. Throughout the process he was a good communicator so that I never felt uninformed on what was going on and next steps. His paralegal staff was very competent, very pleasant, and genuinely interested in making sure the transaction would take place as planned. I always felt that nothing would fall between the cracks with Marc's oversight. We were extremely pleased with the handling of the entire transaction. We cannot recommend Marc and staff highly enough!!
