Minimal incomprehensible communication. Misguided me and zero guidance. Hearing put off three times without objection. I Have another court date coming up. Terrified to use him. Reminded me he is working pro bono I assume so I don't expect much. He turned a simple restraining order hearing into a... dragged out nightmare and gave advice to get financial retribution due to a spy cam video of being accosted by roommate who swindled me out of a few thousand dollars. Well that isn't happening and rather than get at least my losses back I was ordered to pay $1600 to stay in apartment after being robbed. Now my financial information couldn't be used in an eviction hearing because Mr. Jimenez swayed me to get financial restitution and the judge considered that a separate case. Now the talks for finances are over and I have no support for either case. Hope I can get someone new asap.

Fernando Jimenez is the worst lawyer that I've met. I don't recommend him to anyone as a lawyer he does not know how to treat people. In my case, he didn't guide or helped me at all. In fact he was in favor of the other person instead of me (his client) when we were in court. I had to go to his offi...ce and claim child support, and he would kick me out from his office. He is not a good lawyer at all!!

I went to the Courthouse on Newark Avenue, Jersey City to obtain paperwork to defend myself in a debt collection matter. I was involved in a car accident, my medical bills were $9678. My insurance company was disputing the amount charged by the hospital. I want to answer the complaint to avoid a de...fault judgement. In the elevator, he introduced himself to me and asked if i needed directions. I explained my story, and that's when it happened. He told me was a debt resolution expert and even told me had a similar case. We went to office and i gave him $1000 to file an answer and contact my insurance carrier and the hospital in order to resolve the issues at hand. 2 months later I went to office to obtain an update, he can out all upset and said I need to make an appointment first, The next I was contacted by my bank, the hospital obtained a judgment and seized $9900 from my account. Make a long story short he never filed an answer on my behalf, I'm still trying to get the money that I paid him RUN RUN RUN AWAY

I had a low life lawyer that lost all my bank statements and cost me and my family a lot of sorrow and money. The attorney was piece of garbage that stole thousands of dollars from me and my family. I then hired a new attorney Fernando J Jimenez. He had charged me an affordable rate and worked a paym...ent plan out for me. Not once did he bother me for money. The most inportant charactistic trait that Mr. Jimenez had is his passion, he fought tooth and hand against the prosicuter ad treated the case as if i was his son. I barley ever read or write on blogs but it makes me sick to see a person that gets bad mouthed because they didn't hold up to their part of the bargin. i can assure you that is the case from the other reviews. I would recommed Mr. Jimenez to anyone and everyone who wants an attorney to fight for them and do the best they can for their client and not worry about their amount of money they have. I have recommened over a dozen clients to this laywer. All types of cases immigration, criminal and traffic not one person that i recommened said a thing negative about this attorney.
