I went to the Courthouse on Newark Avenue, Jersey City to obtain paperwork to defend myself in a debt collection matter. I was involved in a car accident, my medical bills were $9678. My insurance company was disputing the amount charged by the hospital. I want to answer the complaint to avoid a de...fault judgement. In the elevator, he introduced himself to me and asked if i needed directions. I explained my story, and that's when it happened. He told me was a debt resolution expert and even told me had a similar case. We went to office and i gave him $1000 to file an answer and contact my insurance carrier and the hospital in order to resolve the issues at hand. 2 months later I went to office to obtain an update, he can out all upset and said I need to make an appointment first, The next I was contacted by my bank, the hospital obtained a judgment and seized $9900 from my account. Make a long story short he never filed an answer on my behalf, I'm still trying to get the money that I paid him RUN RUN RUN AWAY

Please Read all the comments and take them to heart, I wish I would have done my research :(. STAY AWAY! Fernando Jimenez as well as his staff is completely unprofessional, RUDE, and incompotent. They dont communicate, they dont explain, and they dont have patience. We hired him for a traffic violati...on which to us was major bc we did not know what the diff was, yet to them we were just a little fish they could get money from. They refused to inform me about the sit, and when I would ask for an explanation they would answer "it was just a simple matter, and only a first appearance" They never called me and I would have to call the court myself to ck if they infact did send the letter of rep and change the court date. Finally the day of court he was late (so unprofessional) and we had a miscommunication and misunderstanding w the payments which led him to harrassing me over the phone (then he knew my # and called me numerous times) SCREAMING AND CUSSING AT ME AND THREATNING ME. HE DEF HAS ANGER ISSUES!! NOT in a proff manner!! please take this advise and look for other rep.
