A JOKE!

Look elsewhere for a divorce lawyer. Dorothy never gets my paperwork completed on time nor was some of the information provided were true. I have never been treated with such disregard.

Outside specialties not so good!

It is my opinion that if the subject is outside bankruptcy this lawyer can not handle it. I used Mr. Goldberg for bankruptcy and everything went excellent! I used his wife for a case outside of bankruptcy and it was disastrous. Similar to another comment, Mrs Wright never returned phone calls. Aft...er about 4 months of chasing her I decided to get a new lawyer. The lawyer called for records and was told none existed. Had to restart the entire process with the new lawyer. Very disappointing practice when doing things outside of bankruptcy.

Absolute worst experience

I would never write a negative review against someone unless it was well deserved and this by far tops it. I was referred to Stephen Goldberg's office in Greenbrook and was assigned to Dorothy Wright (his wife) to handle my divorce. I never received any call backs, updates and any communication from... documents I sent as she assured me that she was taking care of it. Needless to say, there was a request for default due to no response after 2 months of me thinking she had handled my case. No consideration to tell me she had not answered my ex's attorney and no call backs regarding what happened. I sent there office a letter of disengagement and was sent back my original documents with no added fees. She did ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!!!! I have since found another attorney and things seem to be working out fine thus far.

An admonition means an attorney did something wrong but may still practice law. The Bar gives the lawyer an admonition in hopes that he or she will not repeat the behavior.
