Biography
Mr. Williams is the Managing Member of Rice Law, PLLC. He provides legal services to families in the areas of divorce, child custody, child support, post separation support, alimony, equitable distribution, civil litigation and appeals. He runs the largest family law firm Virtual Web-Based Law Office in North Carolina that also has "bricks and mortar" full-service as well.
He has over five years experience as a trial attorney and appeals attorney. He has practiced in many counties throughout North Carolina, the US Department of Education's Office of Hearings and Appeals and is also licensed in the District of Columbia.
He also has extensive experience in the administration of federal student financial aid programs and analysis of higher education research topics. He has provided consulting services to more than 50 institutions of higher education including public, private, and community colleges.
He has been a featured speaker and trainer at national and state conferences. The topics of these speaking engagements have included family law issues, child custody, domestic violence, Title IV statutory and regulatory issues, staffing, higher education research, technology issues, and leadership in higher education.

Mark Williams is a standup guy and I would bet my life he is the best family law attorney in Wilmington he happened to be in the court room when I was I asking the judge for a continuance because I didn't have an attorney and he actually stood up on my behalf and said you know it she's not my client ...
