Unsatisfactory performance!

In my opinion this attorney did a horrible job representing my case and did not seem to care. I was unsatisfied with her performance from beginning to end. She did not give proper attention or time to information I deemed important and I felt that as a result of this I lost my case.

BEWARE! Get personal referrals before you hire someone through a mail solicitation! $350 wasted!

Absolutely, the worst legal representation ever! While I was being raked over the coals by my former employer, she NEVER SAID A THING! She never asked one thing about my temporary replacement during surgery recovery being hired permanently. Receptionist said they saw this sort of thing all the time ...and not to worry. Ms. Wilson told me in our prelim meeting that I was to only answer questions. She NEVER asked my former employer anything about the lies he wrote in his response to my unemployment denial OR about hiring my temp replacement because of her higher education. She left my phone hearing before it was over to take another call! $350 completely wasted.

Please Read and make an informed decision. Outcome of my hearing currently Unkonwn.

My experience with this attorney Moinca Wilson is that she is completely unprofessional and lacks the knowledge and compassion to be performing such a crucial role. Currently, I do not know if a decision was made in my favor or not in my unemployment appeal however, I can say is my experience with... this attorney was simply awful. During my hearing the employer “did not show” and I had several articles of evidence that should make the hearing case a slam dunk. Monica Wilson was very aware of each of these articles as we discussed them in a hearing prep in which I thought she was making case notes. During the hearing she ask three questions total, these were questions that the hearing officer had already asked prior. She never asked questions that I felt were key and that showed that the employer had an on going history of this same complaint. Unfortunately, as the claimant in the hearing I was unable to answer almost anything other than “yes” or “no” answer which prevented me from mentioning or adding on to important issues. Monica gave a very simple 10 second closing argument that I truly believe my five year old could have made. Monica did not even have the courtesy to follow up with a debriefing and after emailing her several times, I finally received a response that was open ended and no help at all. I contacted her by phone and was told that I have asked her to many questions to stop and calm down. Not once did I raise my voice or come close to having an attitude that was as unprofessional as hers. I felt the need to send this as a warning to all looking to choose an attorney for an unemployment hearing please do your research and please choose wisely. Please note I do not know if the hearing was made in my favor this review is done based solely on my evaluation of her as an attorney.

I would not recommend this practice

I attempted to hire Pat and Monica to represent me by giving them my 7 page of story but they would not even take the time to read it to let me know how solid my case was.

DO NOT USE HER

This lawyer was too lazy to cc me on correspondence... very very rude... staff is rude also... if you want a real professional lawyer do not use her... their scanner is broke... wont scan and fax you one page documents... and wont cc you on important matters that pertain your case... I asked for a "c...ontinuation letter"... she said it went out on September... to this date, I still dont have it... And she never handled my case and would not give me a refund... this was the worst experience I had ever had... if you hire her as your attorney, please dont say you havent been warned!!!
