I'm an attorney & she represented me

I'm also an attorney and I've just had occasion today to refer one of my own contract cases to Ms. Wilson because I have a conflict. I thought of her immediately because she actually represented me personally a couple years ago when I was wrongfully terminated by an employer and they appealed my unem...ployment. She won my case, and made me feel confident and well-represented throughout. You would be surprised how anxious lawyers can be about the system when we know just enough outside of our own area of law to be more worried than the average layperson. I recommend her without hesitation, as I did today, even if you are far afield from Durham. She traveled 90 minutes from Durham for my hearing, and I'm very thankful that she did.

Monica Wilson was a God send to me

I contacted Monica one week before my telephone appeals hearing. Given not much time she directed me and clearly expressed what I could expect to take place at the hearing. I had two witnesses. They were both comfortable with the questions she asked which helped them answer the referees questions wi...th ease. I had documented proof of the hostile work environment I worked under for 2 1/2 years. Also, had proof of termination due to age discrimination. With the questions Monica asked me, she guided me to have a comfort level to speak clearly and precise about my termination. My ex-boss answers when asked about my statements was no comment, no comment, no comment etc. I honestly feel that Monica won my case for me. I had 13 weeks of payments not been paid to me. I was told by the person conducting my hearing it could take up to 2 weeks before a determination would be made at the beginning of the hearing. The next day all the 13 weeks were paid and deposited to my bank account. I feel I was truly blessed to have Monica handle my case. I would recommend her to anyone reading this. Monica won a case for a 68 year old professional woman. I had not only suffered from very hostile work environment but had witnesses of age discrimination. Any of you seniors who are being treated unfairly and feel that your age is the reason your boss hollers at you, threatens you, uses fowl language towards you, contact Monica. She cares and will do all she can in her power to win your case. It about time that these bosses that think intimidation , constant harassment because you won't do anything illegal, uses fowl language around you and thinks it funny. I proved my case along with Monica's direction. There is help out there for us call Monica. THANK YOU AGAIN MONICA

Wonderful and honest!

Monica was wonderful and handled everything in such a professional manner and really guided me through the entire process with timely results. Would be a wonderful assest for anyone like me who was denied benefits originally because I quit my job with the reasoning of my former employer being at faul...t.

BEWARE! Get personal referrals before you hire someone through a mail solicitation! $350 wasted!

Absolutely, the worst legal representation ever! While I was being raked over the coals by my former employer, she NEVER SAID A THING! She never asked one thing about my temporary replacement during surgery recovery being hired permanently. Receptionist said they saw this sort of thing all the time ...and not to worry. Ms. Wilson told me in our prelim meeting that I was to only answer questions. She NEVER asked my former employer anything about the lies he wrote in his response to my unemployment denial OR about hiring my temp replacement because of her higher education. She left my phone hearing before it was over to take another call! $350 completely wasted.

Wrongfully Terminated

I was Wrongfully Terminated and denied Unemployment benefits, Ms. Wilson went above and beyond to explain what to expect from my court proceedings. She responded in a timely manner and kept me well informed each step of the way. Ms. Wilson is very trustworthy and I would recommend her to anyone who f...inds themselves in the same situation I was in. Final outcome we won the case. Honesty and Victory Prevails every time. Thanks Again Ms. Wilson.
