I originally approached Marlo Bruch to see about contesting a unfairly written non-compete agreement in a healthcare environment with one of the bigger health systems in the area. She agreed that the verbiage used in structuring my non-compete clause were extremely overreaching and excessive. The n...on-compete was restructured allowing me to move to another specialty in healthcare without jeopardizing the spirit and intent of the non-compete and keeping both parties content. Marlo was excellent. Unfortunately for me, I was working with a troubled management team at the team which read my actions to restructure my contract as a desire to leave the company.
