Sadly, space is limited in this review box but I'd like to share with you my story as well as how her ...work is so impressive. Several years ago, I was terminated from my employment from an governmental agency. I consider myself to be somewhat knowledgeable when it comes to legal matters as I have done work for some of the best lawyers in the past and I felt I had a claim. Because of the political weight of my case, I wanted to find an attorney that wasn't afraid to represent me against a high profile employer. I interviewed several attorneys with little to no satisfaction on my part or as soon as they heard who I was trying to file a claim against, immediately ended our conversation. Then, I had a consultation with Maria in Charleston, WV. I am not easily shaken but when I had my consultation with her I was a little intimidated as if I were revisiting a childhood principal's office. I could easily tell she knew her stuff. She was very thorough in obtaining background information and asked a multitude of questions. She advised me then of my rights and possible actions that could be taken. However, she never pressured me in any way. As a matter of fact she told me she thought it best that I take a week or so and really think over my options and to take my time in my decision making and let her know. Even though I took several days to get back with her, I knew when I left her office that she was the one that was going to represent me. As my suit progressed in federal court, the opposing side kept making things more difficult.
