Based on my personal experience, I would strongly recommend thinking carefully before hiring Spiggle Law Firm.

I had a very disappointing experience with Spiggle Law Firm. I retained the firm for legal representation, but I personally felt that the fees charged were disproportionate to the amount of substantive work performed on my case. In my situation, I was billed approximately $11,000 primarily for wha...t I believed to be a relatively basic complaint letter and related communications. After later consulting with multiple other attorneys, I was told that the same type of work would typically cost significantly less at many other firms. I also felt that I was billed extensively for internal communications and lengthy emails that, in my opinion, were unnecessary and did not meaningfully advance my case. At times, it seemed like routine correspondence generated substantial additional charges, which became very concerning to me as a client. Due to these concerns, I decided to terminate the representation before the matter was completed and retained different counsel. After discussing my experience with other attorneys, I was advised to file a complaint with the Virginia State Bar for further review. I normally do not leave negative reviews, but I believe it is important to share my experience so others can make informed decisions before hiring this firm.

Expert Advice

Employment law is a matter most employees hold the least knowledge of. Many employees who carry characteristics similar to myself end up with the misfortune of being forced to become employment law experts regardless of our true professions, because workplace discrimination exists and seeks only to t...ake our profession, our good name, and our peace. This year of 2024, I was forced to advocate for myself, being no expert in employment law. I made the greatest cry out that I could to find an expert advocate. This is when my advocate, Louise Ryder, appeared from the Spiggle Law Firm. Ms. Louise understood what I was going through, cared, and always gave me honest, direct information to clarify any misunderstandings concerning my case. She never casts shade on the boundaries set in place for the wronged employee by the legal system. She consistently supported my case while being aware of my pros and cons, pursuing the most favorable outcome during my legal dispute. It was great to have an advocate who was for me instead of one who advocated based on the premonition of being required to be there. It truly made the difference during the six months of challenge and dispute. Thank you, Ms. Louise.
