Lorraine Sanchez Hayes

Lorraine Sanchez Hayes is the Founder and Managing Partner of Sanchez Hayes & Associates, LLC and is the Practice Group Leader for The Consensus Group, the consulting division of the firm.

 Ms. Sanchez Hayes specializes in working with organizations and their legal, human resource and risk management departments with respect to the early investigation and management of EEO matters, including the preparationof position statements, mediation advocacy, onsite investigations and crisis management.  Ms. Sanchez Hayes has managed the investigation of over 1000 employment discrimination charges and has represented large employers before over 90 state and federal agencies in 43 states with respect to these matters.

Ms. Sanchez Hayes also assists clients develop pro-active training initiatives for the workplace and implement effective alternative dispute resolution (ADR) and early case assessment programs.

Ms. Sanchez Hayes previously worked as corporate counsel in the employment law group of Home Depot U.S.A., Inc.  Ms. Sanchez Hayes also worked as an employment and labor counsel with United Parcel Service and an associate at the law firm of Troutman Sanders in Atlanta, Georgia.  Ms. Sanchez Hayes' experience as both outside and in-house counsel provides her with a unique perspective on service delivery that is shared by members of the firm.  She understands the business environment her clients work within and seeks to provide innovative solutions that, when implemented, have a positive impact on the overall busniess strategy.  Ms. Sanchez Hayes is a frequent speaker and has most recently participated as a panelist for the Minority Corporate Counsel Associatin and for the National Employment Law Council.
