Lies and more lies.

I’ve written one review and I’ll write another to back up my 1st review. Lori claims she spoke to my character witnesses which I’ve researched and none of them, except for 2 of my close friends and my mother, claim she ever called them (believe me I called each and every one of them and she never cal...led them, one of them even called her) Lori also claims I was represented by counsel and was able to present evidence which is also incorrect considering I was not allowed to present evidence due to the fact I wasn’t able to retrieve my files from my last attorney (who gave me a full refund due to his negligence) within 5 days of my hearing (which most likely also played a part in me losing my case) other than the negligence of Lori. She has yet to present any clear evidence. None of her calls were recorded and she never did a home visit or anything to back up any of her assumptions. Also. I sent her time stamped forwarded emails from September where I had sent my information for in. It was her negligence and her duty to have obtained that information. Her job was suppose to have been to represent the children. She clearly aided in representing my ex-husband.

I again stand by my recommendation in this case and refute any misstatements made by this parent. The judge made a ruling based on the evidence presented at the trial. Should this parent have wished her attorney present more evidence at trial, she should have consulted with him sooner. I did, indeed, call her witnesses. Some never returned my calls, and one told me emphatically that she knew nothing about this parent and that the witness had absolutely nothing to say about this person, only knowing her through a former job. I also had to reach out to others for information on a primary and necessary witness when the parent did not provide the witness' information. Her prior counsel was not negligent, nor was I. I stand by my recommendation on this case and believe her children's best interests were served in the court's ruling.

Would not recommend

On the first visit with her, she said she could do everything involving my case for $1,000. When I came back on the second visit with the money, she had me to sign an agreement saying $1,000 was a retainer and the charge per hour $175. BUT she said it would still be under $1,000. I trusted her which ...was a mistake. Got a bill for the first month for $367! I had to fire her because the first six weeks I was charged $560. The case was just getting started and over half of the $1,000 was gone. It seemed to me to be a bait and switch with a false promise thrown in. She didn't always answer email questions but when she did, it was "I don't know" I don't believe so" "I haven't done that yet" to the SAME questions each time. She was billing for reading the emails and then for answering them, usually the same questions. It was not a good experience because I felt like I had been conned and my money had been wasted. Would not ever recommend her.

After a careful review of my client lists, I have not had a client named "Gloria" since opening my practice. Therefore, I believe this to be by another client who chose not to leave her real name and who was unhappy because I charged her for the actual work performed on her case, as per our client agreement. As stated in my profile, I perform free consultations for my clients. This client received not only one but three free consultations before deciding to hire me - all for which she was not charged. In this case, I performed the work for which the client was billed. The only answers to any of her questions that were "I don't know" were to questions for which no one - not even the judge in the case - would have an answer, including demands for the exact date upon which her complex case would end, and questions on what exactly all of the other attorneys in the case were doing on the case. The latter is not information to which I have access, as their work with their clients is not something that is available to me, just as my work on her case was not available to them. I perform at the highest level for my clients, and I also take pride in keeping costs as low as possible for my clients. There was no bait and switch. The client was given the information, hired me to do her case, I worked on the case, and then she didn't understand why she was billed for my services even though that was clearly explained in her client agreement contract and my review of the same with her.

Excellent Attorney

Lori is an excellent attorney. She is ethical, honest, and level headed. She is down to earth, easy to talk to, and never judges me. I trust her to have my best interests and know she will go above and beyond to advocate for me. You can tell she really cares about her clients and is driven by hel...ping them. I have referred many friends to her and will continue to do so. I cannot thank her enough for all the help she has given me.
