Kyle Barella

As the principal attorney at Barella Global, with offices located in London and Brussels, Kyle Barella brings a wealth of experience to the firm’s U.S. immigration law practice. His extensive experience encompasses areas like investor and business expansion visas, family sponsorships, and navigating the intricacies of waivers for inadmissibility. Embracing his Chilean-American roots, Kyle has championed his Latino background, practicing law beyond the borders of the U.S. for close to ten years.

Within the commercial landscape, Kyle offers invaluable guidance to global entrepreneurs and corporations eyeing the U.S. market. He is adept at facilitating various visa pathways, ranging from the E-2 Treaty Investor and E-1 Treaty Trader Visas to L-1 Intra-company Transfer Visas and the special provisions of the B-1 in lieu of H-1B Visa. He also supports multinational corporations through EB-1C permanent residency for their managerial and executive roles. On a parallel track, Kyle is instrumental in guiding individuals of remarkable talent towards securing their EB-1A or EB-2 NIW green cards. His expertise also extends to aiding employers in the PERM process for EB-2 and EB-3 qualifying foreign nationals.

On a more personal front, Kyle represents both U.S. citizens and LPRs in their green card sponsorships for their overseas partners. He has a penchant for aiding U.S. expatriates in Europe, especially the UK, by streamlining the spousal sponsorship process via local U.S. consulates, ensuring expedited processing. Furthermore, Kyle extends his assistance to those attempting U.S. entry, navigating challenges like waivers for criminal histories, misrepresentations, immigration breaches, and health-related concerns. His proficiency lies in procuring both temporary (212(a)) and permanent (I-601) waivers for a range of inadmissibility issues, inclusive of matters like controlled substance-related infractions and CIMT.

A dedicated member of the legal community, Kyle has shared his insights at the American Immigration Lawyers Association's (AILA) Annual Conference. His discussions often revolve around consular processes at global U.S. diplomatic missions. Kyle's experience was also showcased at the AILA Rome District Chapter's Fall Conference in 2021. Beyond that, as a faculty member of TRTCLE, he imparts knowledge on U.S. immigration themes in CLE courses.

Kyle holds a Juris Doctor degree from Ave Maria School of Law and a Bachelor's in History from George Mason University. His academic pursuits also led him to John Cabot University in Rome, where he studied Italian history and linguistics.
