TERRIBLE

My experience with Kimberly was a setback. Each time I spoke with her I had to remind her each detail of my situation over. She couldn't even remember the date we discussed filing. She recommended I ask for a dollar amount in the split that was about 5% of total assets. She suggested this number befo...re asking what property that was going to be divided. When I finally wrote and said I would need to hire someone that remembers my case her reply was the flippant "Sounds good!" She also took up my consultation time telling me how her and her boyfriend agree to spend time together. 0 Stars for professionalism.

I am so sorry that "anonymous" believed (s)he was treated poorly. I hope that whoever wrote this has found peace from whatever caused them to have enough pain to write this narrative. What is described here is uncharacteristic of how I handle clients.

A great experience with a mediation attorney!

When my husband and I went through our divorce we agreed to try mediation. Finding Kim was a blessing! My situation was fortunate as we agreed on many things, however, Kim was right there to walk me through the process and advise me on the appropriate steps. She was caring and compassionate regard...ing my situation. She did not judge me or how I wanted to handle my divorce but she did ensure I understood the Iowa law and my rights. While I retained Kim for mediation, I would highly recommend her if you have any legal needs.
