Very pleased customer

Kimberly was very professional from beginning to end. Like most cases as they say there is no winner or looser because letting some else decide your life has pitfalls. She never took focus off the fact that it wasn't wining, it was about what was best for my son. Family law deals with the most import...ant aspect of life; it's highly emotional. When you are so high stress it helps to have a straight shooter in your corner telling you not only what needs to get done but the realistic possibilities of outcomes. Kimberly is patient, fair and communicates in timely fashion.

Highly Recommend

I couldn't have asked for better representation. From beginning to end, Kimberly and her team were extraordinary. Heather Shek, whom also worked on my case, is driven, personable, and sharp. Kimberly's legal expertise and professionalism went above and beyond my expectations throughout the duration o...f my case. I highly recommend anyone going through a difficult custody/high conflict divorce, to work with Kimberly and her team. She is fair, tough, and operates with integrity. I felt very confident in the courtroom with her on my side. She is a force to contend with, and I am thankful for her dedication and commitment throughout my case.

Respectful, Effective and Compassionate.

When you are not the major breadwinner, divorcing someone is scary, especially when you have kids. Fighting for custody is such an emotional, painful struggle--it’s easy to feel like the system is rigged for whomever has the biggest bank account (and as a teacher, that is never me). I am so glad I h...ired Kim to represent me. Kimberly and her colleagues were not only supportive, professional and kind, but also mindful of keeping costs manageable. I was consistently impressed with Kimberly’s compassion and clarity in a time when it was so necessary to both my life any my sanity. If you feel afraid, flummoxed by the complexity of the law, and want to give up, speak to Kim. In my original search for an attorney, I met with several lawyers that didn’t want to hear me out and made me feel like I didn’t have a chance of success. Kimberly proved them all wrong! She helped me understand my options and create a plan of action that made me feel hopeful. Things worked out so much better than I ever anticipated. Arn Family Law is one of the rare places where you find a combination of professionalism and warmth, and I will always be grateful that they worked so hard for me and with me. If I ever need representation again, I will not hesitate for a moment to call Kim. She is a force!

Not What I Expected

Ms. Arn was the first attorney I spoke with about my situation. My husband filed for divorce and I needed someone to review the paperwork and provide me professional advice. She was punctual with the telephone consultation but she sounded annoyed by my story. I was trying to paint her a picture of my... situation and she basically wanted to know what I wanted. I asked for her fee and she charges $325 and her assistant is $300...the only difference is that she is the boss. Why would I want someone who doesn’t want to listen to my story to represent me? If I happen to catch her on a bad day...how often does she have bad day? Does she usually take it out on potential clients? Hope you’re having a better day today. But no thank you...I’m sure I can find an attorney that will more than gladly take my money.

I reached out to Lisa directly as soon as she posted her review and apologized to her if I sounded short. However, I think she was probably right. I had a personal problem on my mind that morning and was not feeling myself. So, for that I am sorry. However, I do want to take this opportunity to let Lisa and others know, that unlike many attorneys I offer free telephone consultations. I do this for two reasons: One, because I believe that a client’s relationship with their family lawyer is highly personal and must be a good fit. I don’t believe that a client should have to pay me to find out if I am likely or not to be someone they would feel comfortable working with. Two, I want to give people some initial direction about their case. For example, whether a more comprehensive consultation is in order or whether other resources might be more suited to their situation. I probably give on average 8-10 free consultations each week and these can last anywhere from 15 to 45 minutes, depending on the situation. New family law clients often do not always know what information is most important in order for me to assess their situation. It is not that I am not interested in their story, it is that in order to give them the most useful information within the confines of a free consultation, I may need to ask them to give me different information than what seems most important to them at that moment. I think Lisa took my re-direction for information as my not caring about her story rather than my attempting to get information from her that would allow me to give her some immediate substantive legal and process advice about her situation.

Best Attorney

Mrs. Kimberly Arn is Amazing Believe me, you want to have a great attorney when you’re going through a great deal of emotional pain and suffering. Kim Arn at Arn Family Law is the real deal, she gets it. My divorce was very long,... competitive and sometimes confusing. Kim’s support was consistent and attention to detail was flawless. Kim always had me and my children’s best interest in the forefront of every decision made, we were her focus from start to finish. Kim was very responsive and attentive to my needs in one of my most sensitive and challenging times in my life. Kim always provided me with guidance that allowed me to make well informed decisions and took the time to ensure my understanding of the process during each step. Kim always took my thoughts, concerns, and input into consideration each step of the way and made sure I felt a part of the process, not outside of it. Kim was not only my attorney, but I think of her as a dear friend now. I know it was her job but I feel that the time and care she put into my case went above and beyond. My new life has started and it is a better one because of my knowledge of the system and in knowing there are wonderful people out there that truly care. Liz 2018
