Best lawyer I’ve talked with in the valley

I have been frantically calling lawyers in the treasure valley area. This is my first time in a serious legal case. I was misrepresented and taken advantage of monetarily by my previous representation. Kevin was the ONLY lawyer that could answer all of my questions, give me advice and actually get me... to understand what is happening in my case. He did this for free. There are lawyers that will take advantage of you in the valley and Kevin is definitely not one of them. He knows what he is doing and I highly recommend him

Very helpful!

I was referred to Kevin through the Idaho State Bar Lawyer Referral Service. We met for a 30 minute consultation and during that meeting, Kevin listened intently to me and reviewed my documentation and photos. I felt respected and unrushed. Kevin asked to review my materials overnight. He contact...ed me the next day to say that he would be happy to represent me and felt that I had a winnable case. That was a relief. Kevin explained all my options, including representing myself in Small Claims Court. This is the path I chose to pursue due to financial constraints. Kevin has been awesome about answering my questions (even after the consultation meeting was over) and has given me a sense of confidence to represent myself in Small Claims Court. I have just filed my claim, so don’t yet know how things will turn out. However, if I do end up needing an attorney for this claim or in the future, a call to Kevin will definitely be in order.

Civil Case

I've been working with Mr. Kevin Rogers for several years now in a custody battle for my now 9 year old son. In the beginning, before even reopening the case I would frequently communicate with Kevin. He was always very good about getting back to me within the same day. Best advice he gave me was to ...keep track of everything my ex did to deny visits. Dates, time, brief descriptions. The courts had us do mediation and integration therapy. My ex of course drug his feet the whole time dragging the case out for a little over a year. Which eventually led us to trial. We were able to recall almost all the denied visits while in trial. The trial was brutal for me because I have been in and out of my son's life due to being in prison almost 2 years, relocating 4 hrs away from my son and my ex denying most of my visits over the last 6 years. Kevin did an amazing job at relaying to the judge the facts pertaining to the case. In the end the judge came up with a new order that allowed me to have every other weekend, holiday’s, spring break and summer time with my son in my care. I finally get to bring my son home for the first time in 6 years! This new order is very simple and easy to understand. Now if my ex denies my visits there's not going to be any confusion with the language of the order and he will be held in contempt with the highest punishment. I have so much gratitude for Kevin. There’s no way I could have gone through this battle without him. He always knew what paperwork to draw up and was very quick to get them submitted to the courts. Kevin will be my attorney no doubt till my son is 18!
