Couple had inherited $750k of stock from wife's parents. Husband was a minister who was going to retire. Husband had $200k in deferred compensation/retirement plan and a $200k annuity. Husband would re ... cieve annual retirement of about $25k per year upon retirement. Recommendation/implementation was a Charitable Remainder Unitrust at a 7.75% interest (since the husband and wife had no real need for a large tax deduction) with a joint life calculation. Husband and wife received a $100k tax deduction and a $38,750 income stream. $500k of stock was transferred to the Unitrust administered by the American Baptist Foundation at .25% annual maintenance fee from highly appreciated stock received from the wife. A $500k Irrevocable Life Insurance Trust was established with the sole child being heir and trustee. Husband and wife's combined income approached $100k after retirement including minsiterial pension/income from the Charitable Remainder Trust and Social Security. The daughter will recieve full value of her inheritance from the life insurance trust.

Plaintiff/Claimant was suffering from various mental and physical disorders. Previous law firm had held an ALJ hearing and lost. Claimant filed an appeal with the Appeals Council and got the case succe ... ssfully remanded, but lost at a second hearing. Plaintiff/Claimant hired Linder Law office who reviewed the transcript and decision and appealed the decision on the basis that the ALJ returned the Claimant to past relevant work when the Plaintiff/Claimant was prescribed a cane and had problems with bilateral manual dexterity. The Appeals Council remanded and sent the Plaintiff/Claimant for an additional Consultative Exam. Plaintiff/Claimant was successful on third hearing and is now recieving Social Security benefits.
