Took all money from my wife an I

Was hired in the first part of 2018 after our house fire . We had made a agreement an contract for a list of things that needed to be done as in helping with buying a home an repairing some add-on buying a car also paying for my cremation an other things as I'm sick an lacking judgement at time's. My... wife an I are both disabled. He didn't do what was in our contract after calling him an getting no answer time after time I found out he had been suspended an then resigned. After more call's to his cell phone he answered but I was unable to answer at the to he left a message saying telling us a story of what happened an saying he was fully insured by the ardc an he had told them about our missing money an they would fully reimburse us for the amount as of today they haven't been in touch with us after calling them he hadn't said a word to them about our missing money an I'm at a loss as to what we are to do. He is not the person who he betrayed to be. I don't know how a person could be so heartless we are out of approximately 55.000 dollar's an I still have no clue as to why. Sorry for the long letter.

Mr. & Mrs. Ekiss

We were pleased beyond our expectations. The initial interview was amazing. I felt he cared and offered sound advice. I don't have one bad thing to say about him. We have recommended him to anyone who would listen and they followed our advice. His staff was caring and answered every concern we h...ad. It was a difficult decision but he handled it seamlessly.

Inept, incompetent, and indifferent to my case.

Kevin represented me in my child's custody case. Kevin has made so many avoidable mistakes, delays, and foibles, that I have filled multiple pages in a separate complaint. During the time Kevin Linder represented me, he was consistently tardy to court, sometimes over an hour, filed a petition in th...e wrong court, failed to file a petition for sanctions, as he promised to do, missed an appointment that I flew in from out of state to attend, failed to obtain the address of my child's mother after she moved over two months ago, causing me lost time with my child and considerable expense, since I am traveling from out of state. Linder Law Office tried to file a petition for sanctions without a court order existing... Kevin has way to much on his plate, as the previous review also accurately stated. He and his staff regularly do not return phone calls and emails. In addition, Kevin yelled and used profanity when I asked him to withdraw as my counsel. Linder Law Office has had me fly from out of state only to sit at his office because of his inability to adhere to a schedule. I have never has a worse experience with an attorney.

Do not hire Mr Linder

Mr Linder has to much on his plate. He did not spend enough time on my case. I paid him over $ 35k, and he still wants more. He failed to file a motion before court, wasting court time, attorney fees, and my time traveling nearly 900 miles round trip, not to mention losing everything the motion was ...to present. He told opposing counsel private conversations we had. Several times he had me come to his office an hour before a hearing, only to sit in his office alone doing nothing. Then go to the hearing and be presented a document I've never seen. Mr Linder has poor communication with his office employees. Many times office staff had more knowledge of my case than he. As a direct result of his inattention to detail and lack of concern for my case I have lost nearly everything. I haven't seen my kids now in over four years.

"Mr. Linder concentrates in SSD work and has an exceptional reputation in this field. I found him to be exceptionally helpful when referring a client to him. He also generously offered to spend time explaining this practice area and invited me to a seminar he's giving on Social Security Disability. In my experience, lawyers who go above and beyond to show courtesy and kindness to other lawyers are typically the lawyers who tend to show the greatest level of compassion and kindness to their clients."

  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline
This lawyer was disciplined by a state licensing authority in 2020
