Linder Law office was established in 1995. We practice in the areas of Family Law; Bankruptcy; Social Security Disability/ERISA Disability claims and litigation and Taxation/Estate Planning/Probate and general litigation. We employ two paralegals; a disability case manager and a four retired DDS adjudicators each with over 30+ years experience evalauating claims in the social security area. Our first consultation is free.
In addition to Kevin Linder, Cara Pratt-Fleming and Rachael Hayes are attorneys at Linder Law Office. Cara Pratt-Fleming practices in the area of Family Law and is a certified mediator in the Seventh Judicial Circuit. Rachael Hayes practices in the area of Family Law and is a certified Guardian Ad Litem in the Seventh Judicial Circuit.
In 2014 we opened an office in Wheaton, Illinois dedicated solely to Social Security disabiity cases. We have become a cutting edge Social Security firm employing retired and former Department of Disability Determination Adjudicators - this allows us to develop and present Social Security cases at a very high professional level - perhaps higher than other attorneys. We prepare a throrough analysis of every case and file a pre-trial memorandum prior to your hearing with an Administrative Law Judge so that your odds of winning your Social Security case are much higher!
I am very active in the community and attempt to be very proactive with my clients and their cases. Divorce; custody; visitation all are difficult issues from a personal standpoint. We employ several very experienced and caring paralegals who work in the family law area. Our bankruptcy paralegals are very experienced and I have taught several seminars on bankruptcy and other financial issues.
We are involved in the community -- I have served on the Board of the Family Service Center (an organization which offers care and support for adoptive parents and children under DCFS care; the Board of Directors of Habitat for Humanity of Sangamon County; and the Board of Directors of Friends of Sangamon Auditorium. I am also active with the Foundation for the Abraham Lincoln Presidential Library and Musuem; the Springfield Park Foundation and the Animal Protective League.
The office and I have been a member of the Chamber of Commerce since 2001 and the American Business Club. The American Business Club of Springfield donates over $200,000 to local charities each year. Giving back to the community is very important to me as a professional and as a person. I was a Big Brother with Big Brother/Big Sisters of Sangamon County for 5 years and am still actively involved with my (now) twenty year old "little brother."
We understand the pressures of family law and divorce. My background is in Financial Planning so we understand and offer a compassionate and competent service to people facing financial problems. Our staff is one of the most competent and knowledgeable about Social Security in the area.

Kevin represented me in my child's custody case. Kevin has made so many avoidable mistakes, delays, and foibles, that I have filled multiple pages in a separate complaint. During the time Kevin Linder represented me, he was consistently tardy to court, sometimes over an hour, filed a petition in th...

Mr Linder has to much on his plate. He did not spend enough time on my case. I paid him over $ 35k, and he still wants more. He failed to file a motion before court, wasting court time, attorney fees, and my time traveling nearly 900 miles round trip, not to mention losing everything the motion was ...

"Mr. Linder concentrates in SSD work and has an exceptional reputation in this field. I found him to be exceptionally helpful when referring a client to him. He also generously offered to spend time explaining this practice area and invited me to a seminar he's giving on Social Security Disability. In my experience, lawyers who go above and beyond to show courtesy and kindness to other lawyers are typically the lawyers who tend to show the greatest level of compassion and kindness to their clients."
"Mr.Linder is one of the most exemplary and extraordinary attorneys that I have encountered in 24 years of practice. Despite being a judge, magistrate, prosecutor, and private attorney for nearly two and a half decades, I continue to learn valuable information from his posts every day. I would highly recommend."
"I endorse this lawyer. Attorney Linder is one of the finest attorneys in the US and the top attorney in his state. If I needed a family law attorney he would be my first choice. Attorney Linder is a strong and zealous advocate for his clients and a credit to the legal profession."
"I endorse this lawyer's work. I have been on the opposite side of cases with Kevin, and have been impressed with his diligence and knowledge. He also has great staff who support his efforts. I have and continue to refer bankruptcy and social security disability clients to him."
