Katie met with me from the start coming in super focused. I was careful to see quite a few layers as this was going to be a critical case, and impact my son’s future as well as mine. My ex had kept her pregnancy a s...ecret from me and as soon as I discovered this was going on I filed the paperwork. We filed for pre birth paternity testing but unfortunately it was not granted by the judge. That being said, Katie fought like h*** for me and was super responsive in any form of communication used to reach her. This was a very emotional time for me yet she was not all just business, she actually cared. During this case was one of the few times in life I had to break down and cry about the situation I was going through but she was very supportive. We then filed for me to be allowed into the room when my son was born, as it was stated previously by his mother that would be okay. That being said, at the last moment she (my ex) went back on that promise and even stated afterwards he was not my child. We then filed for her to incur the cost of delaying justice (I forget the legal name). Once he was born we had an ordered paternity test. This took 2 weeks to come back, the hardest two weeks of my life thus far as I was not able to meet my boy. It was hard times definitely but on the day the results came back Katie ensured I could see him. That was the greatest day of my life to see him. We ended up settling out of court due to my ex agreeing to everything we asked. Sometimes I wish I waited for judgement just because Katie was so on top of it, but winning half custody was everything I could have asked for.

It took almost 2 years and 3 lawyers with katie being the last . I finally got joint leagle desision making and more time with my daughter than the county we live in allows for fathers . Shes a neat person and a great lawyer to have on your side . Shes seen me at my worst emotionally and allways made... me feel better . I was blessed to have her in my life thank you katie THANK YOU
