A Busy Lawyer is a GOOD THING

I too had troubles at times getting him to call me back. But the alternative would mean that he was just sitting around waiting for my call. Mark is very busy and his time valuable because he is an exceptional lawyer. We definitely did not rush through my case. (2005 til 2010) Mark took his tim...e to ensure that everything he did was in my best interest. He could have probably got me a quick settlement, but it was good thing he didn't. I returned to my doctor several times and had multiple treatments that he made sure were completely cover by my employer. (he had my back) He will not tell you what you WANT to hear, he will tell you what you NEED to hear. If you want a lawyer for a quick buck, I do not recommend. If you want someone to protect you, J. Mark White is YOUR lawyer.

I called his office one time each week for 12 weeks and never got a return phone call. I was always told he would return my call but he never did. I ask if just anyone would return my call so that I could pass on info to him. I did have to fire him.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
