I was recently involved in a case regarding a possible alleged sexual assault case. I had never been in a situation where I would have needed to consult an attorney but was recommended Jenn by a family friend. She was incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and most importantly straight forward from the b...eginning. She presented me all possible outcomes from the very beginning and was realistic going forward. She also maintained a constant line of communication so I was never left in the dark at any phase of the investigation. Her investigator and paralegal were incredibly professional as well. In the end, Jenn was able to help keep me out of a sticky situation that I shouldn't have been in the first place, and her professionalism helped make the situation more bearable. I was charged with third degree assault/ domestic violence back in May. Prior to this, I had no criminal history (not even speeding tickets). I was very nervous about the situation and felt completely overwhelmed. I found Jenn through an online search. Through her free consultation, I immediately fel...t comfortable and everything was layed out in a way that I could understand. Jenn was extremely personable, understanding, and caring. I had no doubt when I hired her. Throughout the case, Jenn provided me with frequent updates. She knew exactly what to do for the case and was very timely. I appreciated the texts, phone calls, and emails throughout my case. Jenn ended up getting my case dismissed. I really appreciated Jenn because not only did she know exactly what she was doing, but she provided comfort and brought in a non-judgmental atmosphere. I would recommend her to anyone!

I hired Jenn to help me through a DUI case (my first - don't drink and drive folks, it's hella stupid). She was very experienced and very confident that we could get my charge lowered, and my sentence reduced correspondingly. Spoiler: She was successful in accomplishing all of the above, at a strongl...y competitive rate, and she did so by treating me like a competent adult human being, she helped me prepare for my court dates, helped to de-stress me (I don't deal with criminal courts often), and was superb at keeping in touch and following up on any questions I had. Not only did she handle all of this, but she was very thorough and clear in explaining the process, what was to come next, and what (specifically) all of these Latin legal mumbo jumbo words meant to a legal layman like myself. This greatly reduced the stress I was under, and made the process that much more bearable. In addition, she was right on point in recommending the actions I needed to take immediately (such as attending a MADD panel, attending Level II Alcohol/Drug Education classes, etc) to present myself to the court as someone genuinely interested in atoning to the wronged community for his crime, and looking to resume the normal life of a law-abiding citizen. Finally, she was really great at communicating the expectations she had of me (usually financial - but occasionally other things) as well as the milestones that we would hit as the process moved forward. Upon the eve of these milestones, she would always send a clear and informative email for what to expect - and when we had passed the milestone, she would send a similarly clear and informative email summarizing what took place. She was ALWAYS open for any questions that I might have that wasn't covered by her regular communications - I'd send her texts at 11:00 PM when a thought would pop into my head (because I'd forget otherwise), and if I didn't get a reply that evening (reasonably), I could expect one the next day. In summary, Jenn was a fantastic attorney and if I could do it all again (which I DON'T intend to), I would absolutely hire her again. I strongly recommend her to anyone going through this process - she is worth every penny that she charges and probably more.

Ms. Kilpatrick helped me with a unique case in which my 16 year old son loaned our car to a 15 year old girl who subsequently rolled the vehicle. Through unusual circumstances, I was charged with failure to report the accident and aiding and abetting, which held serious consequences. Ms. Kilpatrick p...rovided me with excellent representation and was persistent in the case which was eventually dismissed. Ms. Kilpatrick was very knowledgeable regarding law, produced impeccable documents, and showed great skill in her execution. But the best part was that she was also caring, compassionate, and provided me encouragement through out the process.
