In November 2015, we hired Jennifer to process a marriage based permanent residency and adjustment of status. It was a very stressful time as I wasn't sure of the right procedures, and during my first years in the U.S. as a student I had gaps in my enrollment due to the political complications in my ...home country and the lack of financial help from back home. We had initially filed our green card based marriage ourselves, but over the course, we ran into some personal incidents that we needed a good immigration lawyer. We searched for a few before finally finding Ms. Durkin of Durkin & Puri, she not only helped us obtain my husband's green card but hel...ped out with another case, with her great advice! We had spoken with other immigration lawyers before her, they told us our case was tough and had very little chance. we were so disappointed. But then we found Ms. Durkin after googling and reading some good things about her firm. She was so different right from the beginning. She was so positive, patient, and the thing that got us was that she seemed to have experience in all sorts of immigration cases. She was so confident in us and told us we will be fine. We immediately hired for our AOS interview at garden city, she prepped us endlessly. Even though our case was scheduled for another ( stokes) interview, which because we did have a really tough officer who was the not very nice at all and even in her experience, she never seen anyone like her. In any case, to make the story short, she prepped us more for stokes interview, which we aced! We have to say, she was totally positive, she prepped us endlessly, she prepared our documents so neat and organized for the officers to look at. We are so thankful to her!!!
