My immigration case was not simple. I came here as a child, but had 2 minor infractions from the 1990's. Since the infractions were old and minor, I applied for my I-485 without the help of a lawyer, but that application was denied. That's when I sought legal help. We had initially filed our green card based marriage ourselves, but over the course, we ran into some personal incidents that we needed a good immigration lawyer.
