Jennifer Durkin

This lawyer was supposed to file an I-824 for my mom since October of 2019. She charged $2000.00 for her fees and $465.00 was for the filing fee. She was given $1200.00 dollars on 10/21/2019 the day my mom went for the consultation. After three months of constantly calling her office most of the tim...e getting only the answering machine and no return call from the messages left and the few times that the receptionist decided to answer the only solution from her was she will let the lawyer know that my mom called and that she don't know what was done to file the I-824. On one conversation she told my mom that she have to pay more money in order for them to start the filing and on 01/23/ 2020 my mom paid $400.00 more to Alma Aquino the receptionist. After that there was no communication from this lawyer or the receptionist despite phone calls and messages from myself and my mom as to what is being done to file the paper except for one instance where the receptionist answered the phone and told my mom the associate lawyer Puri is handling the case. I spoke to Puri receptionist on 11/19/2020 and she told me that they don't know any Jennifer Durkin and Puri name is on the receipt that my mom received. Lawyers like these need to be disbarred and locked up for robbing innocent people. Hope something can be done through this medium and I am taking it up with higher offices.

Even though our case was scheduled for another ( stokes) interview, which because we did have a really tough officer who was the not very nice at all and even in her experience, she never seen anyone like her. In any case, to make the story short, she prepped us more for stokes interview, which we aced! We have to say, she was totally positive, she prepped us endlessly, she prepared our documents so neat and organized for the officers to look at. We are so thankful to her!!!
