No one like getting in trouble with the law but -

Staff was extremely nice, informative and responsive. Helped us with a speeding ticket with awesome results. Highly reccomend and although we hope to not have a need for them again, we know who to contact if we need help with another ticket. We were able to do everything through email or phone commun...ication which helped out alot.

Just in time

I got a pretty hefty speeding ticket and called around to a couple different lawyers before I found The Gaines Law Firm. Thank goodness I found them because their fee was a quarter of what I was quoted by another law firm. They’ve been super responsive and there to answer all my silly questions. I’m ...pretty sure I’ve called them 4 times since they went to my court date, they’re finished on their end but still very helpful with my questions and don’t make me feel dumb for asking. I appreciate them and I’m happy this ticket will not go on my record while also not having to spend a crazy amount of money. I’d 100% recommend this law firm to anyone needing to take care of a traffic ticket.

So glad I got a second opinion from James Gaines

I can scarcely believe my awesome experience with James Gaines after numerous terrible experiences with attorneys in the past. I was reluctant to even contact one but was forced to when an erronious "violation" from ten years ago suddenly appeared on my record blocking my license renewal. I was unab...le to contact the state or the issuing ticket mill and didn't know what to do. I knew I needed legal help. After contacting some other firms who did not contact back or told me that they did not cover my area (suburban Houston), I contacted Gaines and immediately responded with a cheerful, "I'll be happy to help." It took a little time, but James cleared up the issue completely! I emailed the state and they immediately updated my temporary TDL and sent my permanent card in the mail! The most incredible thing is they charged me nothing! Nothing! Still in disbelief and so very grateful. Without James gaines I would be driving without a license for no reason other than the Texas "Omni Law" which no doubt causes much chaos to the citizens here. Thanks again James!

Always a fair straightforward guy

PLEASE READ: unfortunately, I've had to hire attorneys in the past for legal matters, and I kid you not, no one has been more convenient than Gaines Law Firm. I was dealing with a traffic ticket from back in 2012 and I have lived in Dallas my entire life. Initially, I thought that having to hire an a...ttorney in a city that is 4 hours away was going to be difficult. After a few calls, I realized that it was in fact going to be difficult. From the beginning, Gaines Law was far less expensive than other attorneys and most other attorneys kept using the fact that I lived in Dallas as a separate fee. I'm talking $150 extra from the 3 other firms that I looked into. To be completely honest, I did not know what I was expecting, because I hired a firm that was far less expensive than the others, so in my mind I was not expecting the unexpected. From the beginning the firm made it feel like it was not a big issue, and that they could easily take care of me. Which as I'm typing this, is still hard to comprehend how they could make me feel so secure and confident with my trial after only 1 phone call and a few email exchanges. After 1 week of them as my attorney, they completely resolved my case from 2012! ONE WEEK! (Which says a lot about a firm in this money hungry economy) I hope that I never have another legal matter in Houston, but if I do, I will without a doubt return to Gaines Law! I truly thank the entire team for making it seem painless while communicating from 250mi+ of distance between us! I truly recommend that everyone look into Gaines before going elsewhere!

Appreciated

Hired Mr. Gaines for a pretty complicated case after consulting with 2 other attorneys. Mr. Gaines immediately felt me feel at ease and confident, he kept me up to speed, and they have a really good online system during covid so I could keep an eye on things and that's enjoyed. I had piece of mind, e...ven after my ticket got dismissed we received a Thanksgiving card from the office, and we thank yalls's firm for everything.
