Ripoff - did NOT appear in the court - Filed complaint in State Bar

Emailed him and got assurance of himself appearing in the court. I hired and paid fee immediately. He responded to emails at first but would not return phone calls and emails. From James; "you do not need to appear for the date. I will handle the date, and update you the moment I have a plea offer". ...This was January 25th, I then received an SMS message dated February 7th 2024 that I failed to appear the scheduled court date February 6th 2024. After this I sent a few emails to him asking for updates and why he did not appear but he never replied again. I even called the court to validate if he appeared and the lady said 'NO' he did not. I am filing a written complain to State Bar of Texas so he stops playing games with others.

Nice dismissal

So far I have called once for a 85 mph ticket. They are very nice over the phone, the price seems reasonable and they handled everything for me with just a little intake for from me . My ticket came due and they represented me without me being in court which is great. I just received word that I won ...my case a few days before Christmas and could not be happier . No charges , no fees due at court and no point on my record.. I would highly refer them to anyone I know. My son just got and out of state registration and exhaust ticket. Which we have 0roof of everything. Awaiting the outcome.

Do Not Hire This Attorney

Read other recent reviews. I hired James Gaines to represent me for a traffic violation. He took my money then never submitted a letter of representation or followed up with the court. He assured me several times he was handling the case. The court issued a warrant for Failure to Appear and this atto...rney disappeared, will not answer calls, texts, or emails. Now I’m in bad standing with the court and receive no support.

Southern California Trademark Attorney - James Gaines

James Gaines is one of the best trademark attorneys working in LA. It's a long wait time but it was worth. He was thorough, attentive, and took the time to explain my optiions. I didnt hire him this time, but will definitely be back when it is time to file.

Great Houston Trademark Lawyer

I had to defend a patent and James Gaines is my go to for any patent work. James Gaines and his group of experts in Trademark and Patent law have been outstanding for me as an inventor and my group. They go above and beyond to help you understand the pertinent laws and stay on top of all of our ver...y important filings and issues. I have 6 patents either pending or in current status and probably 10 or more trademarks. I couldn't be more happy and pleased with the service they provide. They truly are worth every dime spent as Intellectual Property is so important to protect and have as a manufacter and entrepreneur. I would fully endorse this great law firm. -Dr. Bell Roche
