In regards to Alimony, I told Ms. Ortiz that I only wanted Rehabilitative Alimony to finish school. She stated that Spousal Support was the same. Although I pressed the issue she assured me that it was the same. I should have listened to my gut instinct. It is not the same and after almost completing... my degree, my ex-husband decides to terminate the alimony. The Judge stated there was no language of Rehabilitative Alimony even though I had all my receipts, school tuition bill, etc. The Judge even said she believed me that I was going to school The Divorce Decree should have read Rehabilitative Alimony and the time frame for which the degree needed to complete.
