In regards to Alimony, I told Ms. Ortiz that I only wanted Rehabilitative Alimony to finish school. She stated that Spousal Support was the same. Although I pressed the issue she assured me that it was the same. I should have listened to my gut instinct. It is not the same and after almost completing... my degree, my ex-husband decides to terminate the alimony. The Judge stated there was no language of Rehabilitative Alimony even though I had all my receipts, school tuition bill, etc. The Judge even said she believed me that I was going to school The Divorce Decree should have read Rehabilitative Alimony and the time frame for which the degree needed to complete. READ READ READ and RESEARCH. She is a great person and really cared about my case, but things could have been different had she just researched Rehab Alimony vs. Spousal Support.

This woman make promises til see money at her hand, but before you signed with her you had to give 5 grand for retainer and make you sign a contract to keep pay money, she did nothing for my case I not get satisfied, later I get a call from her partner demanding the rest of the balance and threat me ...with lawsuit and tell me I see you in court, If you have a case with this lawyer please quit and get a trustworthy lawyer this guys don't like to work, They love to cheat.

I was very satisfied with the help I received from my attorney she was efficient in getting me through my divorce, child visitation and support which I filed, and secondly she help me with getting my son emancipated from child support. I hired Ms Ortiz between 11/2010 and 3/2011. In that time Ms. Ortiz displayed an intrest in money rather than my case. When we lost disasterously in Divorce court, she blamed it on me and insisted to be paid without giving me a final bill. I fired Ms. Ortiz twice and twicwe she pleaded with me to sat...y on. So I gave her two chances to no avail.
