She suggested legal actions, which were done, and this prevented the child from going back to the abusive parent. Through the process of court proc...eedings and court ordered evaluations for the abusive parent, it eventually became clear that the abusive parent wasn't able to safely parent. The non-abusive parent was then granted full custody. At that hearing, the Judge was complimentary of Erin for her guidance with this whole process.

Erin and I have been working together for over three years in regards to custody of my daughter. We had an hour long consultation the first time meeting together and I was extremely impressed at the information she could show me, the insight she gave me on why other firms weren't able to get done wha...t I was hoping and a clear plan of action on how we should proceed. I'm familiar with the unfortunate part where once an attorney receives your trust payment all of that communication you had before you hired them goes away. That was never the case when working with her. She was always very prompt with her responses and if I had any questions on why we were doing something she took the time to explain in terms I could understand. That greatly added peace of mind through the emotional process of child custody. She very quickly made sure my daughter and I were protected after I hired her with an ex-parte protection order. My ex subsequently filed a retaliatory protection order against me, which Erin was able to get dismissed quickly. There were other times where a decision hadn't been made on something extremely important before a holiday break and Erin or her assistant would call the courthouse and speak to the bailiff, the bailiff would help by keeping her informed and she would relay that information to me. After some time had passed we were able to come to an initial custody agreement with my ex that I had requested. Unfortunately though a year and half later things had gotten bad again and we had to go back to court. I felt confident that I would be able to get full custody of my daughter this time around due to the previous work Erin had done for me. She cooperated very will with the other attorney(s) that my ex had, she made sure that they were aware of the evidence we had and what would be submitted BEFORE discovery was due. That was an excellent strategy on her part in ultimately helping to reach a full legal and physical custody agreement that I had been trying to get since my daughter was two, my daughter was seven when I finally got full custody. Erin was always very good at reminding me of when everything needed to be filed, and would remind me of documents I hadn't gotten to her yet if there was a deadline approaching. She worked very differently in all the best ways than previous attorneys I had. I always talked with her, never her assistant. That helped tremendously because then I knew that everything I needed clarified wouldn't get confused. I cannot say enough good things about Erin. I know without a doubt that with whatever area Erin is practicing in she will do a wonderful job. Thank you again Erin for all of your help, my daughter and I sincerely appreciate it.
