Unfortunately, I have made a few bad decisions more than once and ended up getting cited for DUI 3 times. The first time, I hired an attorney at the last minute because I was scared and young, and the attorney did nothing. In fact, he was so inexperienced that he managed to add time to the length I c...ouldn't drive. Having 1 DUI on your record pretty much guarantees that if you get pulled over again, you're getting another one. And, that's what happened many years later. At this point, I had a very successful career in outside sales and driving was imperative so I was completely terrified of losing everything. This time I thought I was smarter and I asked friends for referrals, esp friends that had DUIs thrown out or reduced. I ended up getting a referral and THOUGHT I was in good hands but the duo legal team I was referred to were awful. If you have worked with Eilam, you know that the first 10 days after your arrest are crucial to keeping your license or at least keeping you driving for extra time, and you know that there is a Civil Case with the DMV and a Criminal Case with the court. The duo that I was referred to dismissed the Civil Case as having any importance and actually told me to 'take the bus, perhaps?'. Instead of answering my questions, they were drinking and hanging out at a Ray's game. I had paid them in full initially because I was referred, and THOUGHT I was in good hands. Anytime I tried to call them or question something, they either didn't answer or they lied. So, I fired them. They never refunded me a dime. At this point I reached out to a lawyer friend in Orlando, and he asked the best Orlando lawyer who he would refer in Tampa, and luckily I was referred to Eilam! I called Eilam and left a message and he called me back even though it was 10pm. I explained my career, my arrest and refusal to blow, and what the duo of lawyers had told me about the Civil Case and that I wished to seek new counsel. When I met with Eilam, it was night and day compared to any other lawyer. Eilam was very straight forward with me and never promised me anything in terms of an outcome, but he did say he would fight it to the best of his capabilities and honestly, I felt like I was in the best hands ever, and I was. Eilam's knowledge of the Civil side and the Criminal side kept me driving for longer than the 10 days you initially have, and I was able to keep my job! That DUI was reduced to reckless driving in the end. Unfortunately, I did not learn my lesson. Many years later, I made the choice to drive home after a few glasses. This time I hit a curb and wrecked the axel of my car. I got out of the car to assess the damage and that's when the police arrived. I was arrested even though I was not driving when the cops arrived. Of course, immediately after being released from jail, I called Eilam. I would never trust anyone else other than Eilam, so we sat down again for a second time to discuss my case. I hated myself for ending up in his office again, but I will tell you, having Eilam and his superior knowledge fighting for me gave me hope that somehow I would once again, have my life and career saved, and I did. Eilam once again kept me driving for quite some time after the 10 days because of his knowledge of the Civil case, and because of his never give up philosophy and the depth of his knowledge, he found a flaw in my case and after 2 years of fighting the court, my case was reduced to reckless driving. I now take Uber if I plan to have even 1 drink so I don't plan on being in his office for a thrid time, but honestly hands down, Eilam is the BEST DUI attorney out there. He is one of the most dedicated, determined and smartest people I know. You are in good hands with Eilam! Don't make the mistake of going anywhere else!
