Biography
Trey’s practice focuses on business and real estate disputes and transactions. He routinely represents businesses and individuals in contract disputes, eminent domain and condemnation cases, real estate and common-law fraud claims, commercial and residential landlord-tenant matters, and construction disputes. He litigates in Denton, Cooke, Collin, and Wise Counties, and both the Northern and Eastern District of Texas Federal Courts. Trey litigates before arbitrators and is a certified mediator.
Trey also represents municipalities throughout North Texas in State and Federal Court, and in transactional matters.
Trey was born and raised in Denton and is a seventh-generation resident of Denton County. He is the Immediate Past President of the Denton County Young Lawyers Association, and serves on both the Denton Main Street Association Board and Denton Parks Foundation Board. Trey is a graduate of Leadership Denton and a founding member of the Denton Evening Rotary Club.
Trey graduated on the Dean’s List from the University of Oklahoma College of Law in 2013. Prior to law school, Trey studied as a Mark Coleman Research Fellow while working in the Environmental Verification and Analysis Center at the University of Oklahoma. Trey earned a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Oklahoma in 2010.
Trey is admitted to practice in all Texas State Courts and the Northern and Eastern District of Texas Federal Courts.
