Please note: I am not accepting new clients and am no longer in private practice.
I have been licensed to practice law in Texas since 1999. I worked as a prosecutor for twelve years before opening my own private law practice. I have also worked for a public defender's office handling death penalty capital murder cases, and in my private practice, I handled all levels of criminal defense for adults and juveniles in many South Central Texas counties including Bexar, Atascosa, Wilson, Hays, Frio, La Salle, Medina, and Karnes. I am now in non-profit management, first serving as Chief Public Defender for a 4-county region and now as Managing Attorney for Neighborhood Defender Service of Texas.
