Biography
I went to trial for the first time in the summer of 2004 and spent the next fourteen years vigorously representing people charged with crimes. I also spent a year with the Innocence Project in Kentucky fighting for those wronged by their own judicial system. For thirteen years as a public defender, I successfully defended individuals across Colorado. From Holyoke to Golden and from petty offenses to first-degree murder, I have fought the government in Colorado. My experience includes nearly 100 trials, but I also push for dismissals or negotiate pleas that make sense for my clients.
