About Chad
Biography
Chad West has dedicated his life to working for justice and protecting the rights of individuals who are facing difficult legal circumstances. Throughout his career, he has worked on a vast variety of cases ranging from complex plaintiff’s litigation suits generating over $200 million in verdicts, judgments, and settlements to DWI defense cases that have resulted in favorable outcomes for his clients, among others. His practice focuses primarily on serious injury litigation and criminal defense. In 2012 Chad has been recognized with three honors: Outstanding Young Lawyer by the Dallas Association of Young Lawyers; Rising Star by Super Lawyers magazine; and Best Criminal Defensive Attorney by Dallas Voice.
After growing up on a farm in Southern Illinois, Chad attended and graduated from Washington University in St. Louis and was commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the United States Army. He served in Hungary and Bosnia as an operations officer and, after being promoted to Captain, at Fort Sam Houston, Texas as a training officer and Company Commander. For his service and leadership, Chad was awarded a Meritorious Service Medal, an Army Commendation Medal, two Army Achievement Medals, and the Airborne and Expert Field Medical Badges.
After receiving an honorable discharge from the Army, Chad attended the nationally recognized Texas Tech University School of Law, and graduated with honors. He initially clerked for Judge Terrie Livingston, an appellate judge at the Court of Appeals for the Second District of Texas in Fort Worth. Subsequently, Chad worked as a toxic tort and personal injury attorney for Baron & Budd, P.C., where he learned the art of representing victims of negligence. Chad then opened his own firm in Oak Cliff, near his home and community.
On April 1, 2012 Khirallah West, PC opened its doors and Chad merged his practice with his best friend and Texas Tech School of Law alum, Rachel Khirallah. Khirallah West, PC is a boutique law firm located in the Uptown area of Downtown Dallas, working primarily in Construction and Real Estate litigation, Serious Injury litigation and Criminal Defense.
Chad is passionate about his community and his country. He organized and planned the inaugural Dash for the Beads, a 5K Fun Run that takes place in the Bishop Arts District, and he serves on the Dallas Leadership Committee of Lambda Legal, an organization that fights for equality for all people.

Mr. West helped me out!
Mr. West was my attorney on a bogus burglery case. He filed a grand jury packet and got it thrown out. My old lawyer wouldnt even return my calls.
