Sallye Ann Wilton

Born, raised and graduated from Midland High School with honors, Sallye Wilton is a true Texas native. She continued her education earning a  B.S. In Chemistry, B.A. in Business Management and a minor in Finance from Texas Sate University with honors and in the top 1% of her class.

Wanting to practice law, she went on to Southern Methodist University (SMU) where she studied at the Dedman's Scool of Law in pursuit of her Jurus Doctorat. With passion and drive, Sallye became one of the few students in the competitive pool of applicants to join the Criminal Defense Clinic. Honing and learning her courtroom skills, this is where the foundation was layed to make Sallye be the best attorney she could be.

As her studies continue, Sallye Wilton was employed at a prominent Criminal Defense Firm in Dallas, Texas as a clerk.  If that was not a heavy load to carry all at once, Sallye embarked on the adventure of joining the SMU Criminal Justice Clinic during her second and third years of law school. While at the Clinic, she provided pro bono legal Criminal Defense work to indigent clients charged with offenses in Dallas County. Adding all the ingredients of an education, the Criminal Defense Clinic, her clerkship and the Criminal Justice Clinic created a well balanced education and deep knowledge of the Dallas County Courthouse system, dynamics of trial and courtroom experience.  

After graduation, Sallye joined forces with Sheridan Lewis to begin the partnership of Lewis & Wilton LLP. What began as a boutique Criminal Defense Firm quickly grew into a full service Law Practice while still maintaining the boutique feel her clients loved.  

In 2017, Wilton decided it was time for her to start her own firm in an effort to expand the spectrum of service and practice to her clients. Wilton Law Group is a boutique Criminal Defense Firm located in Dallas, Texas. While Criminal Defense is a high area of focus for the Firm, the practice has grown to handle with successful results for its clients to areas of the l law such as Federal Law, Business Law, TABC Law, Real Estate and Estate Law. Additionally the Firm often handles civil litigation, small claims cases, DUI/DWI, small business needs and much more. Sallye practices in Collin, Dallas, Denton, Ellis, Grayson, Hunt, Kauffman, Parker, and Tarrant counties among other counties.
