Paying denotes an exchange for service. I donated thousands to Naomi. She would call me to update me THEN ATTEMPT to charge me hundreds for her time when a simple text / email would suffice. The case couldn't have gone worse. My previous attorney left the state. My experience with the previous a...ttorney was easy and quick. This was LONG and DRAWN out being bled form money along the way until severed services.

I was blindsided by a divorce filing and in my haste and despair, decided to use my company's legal insurance to find an attorney. After a few phone calls, I was funneled to Naomi - shortly thereafter, the nightmare began. Despite what I was lead to believe in our initial conversations, Naomi turn...ed out to be extraordinarily feeble, disorganized, and inexperienced. Despite charging an hourly rate that would be appropriate for a hot-shot attorney, she managed to lose every negotiation with opposing counsel before we even filed a response. After the first few losses when negotiating visitation, she suddenly became increasingly harder to reach. Calls would go unanswered and emails unreturned. She waited, literally, until the day before a response was legally required before she scheduled a time to discuss my case. Inexplicably, during that conversation, she proposed that in our response we should "not be too aggressive" since, in her words, "judges don't like that". When I confronted her about her poor performance, she immediately became defensive and suggested that I find another attorney. On the bright side, because I had already gotten numb to the high hourly rate, I didn't hesitate to discharge her when I found a real ace attorney at the same price. And when I say ace, I mean like TV attorney courtroom drama good. For the same hourly rate this new firm had a staff and multiple attorneys; every phone call was answered by a receptionist, and email were timely answered. My new attorney quickly reversed Naomi's stumbles and fumbles into quick victories. It's simple: If you value your family or your money, find someone else.

Someone else said "Naomi was an absolute "godsend" for me. I found her through my jobs employee assistance program (EAP)." This is also true for me. She was both a godsend and worked with my budget as part of my employer's EAP program. Divorce has been the hardest thing I have ever gone through in my... life. I am still working out a lot of feelings and shock of how brutal the opposing party could be. Naomi is everything the reviewers say about her. She is compassionate, ethical, hard worker, and always stays on top of deadlines! When comparing the language she uses on her statements versus the opposing party, I had no doubt I had chosen well. She is absolutely brilliant! However, the opposing party was extremely aggressive, and I was terrified of the outcome nonetheless. Fortunately, I had right on my side. I couldn't be happier with the results.

Naomi Fribourg does not miss a single comment or statute - she knows every angle of family law and I really wish I had spoken to her sooner. As a father, I assumed that I would not get an equitable resolution in the court system, and thought that trying to work everything out with my ex would be bet...ter and less stressful. WRONG Naomi is no nonsense and got right down to brass tacks in our first meeting. She gave me a few options and outcomes to consider, asked me to get documentation together and strongly advised me before we went to court. I am happy with the outcome. I feel a huge weight has been lifted and want to tell all you dads out there, who are killing themselves and going broke trying to make things work with your ex. I had a consultations with her 6 years ago, and i ended up not filing for a divorce then. I would love to have her on my side if i have to go though a divorce.
