I was blindsided by a divorce filing and in my haste and despair, decided to use my company's legal insurance to find an attorney. After a few phone calls, I was funneled to Naomi - shortly thereafter, the nightmare began. Despite what I was lead to believe in our initial conversations, Naomi turn...ed out to be extraordinarily feeble, disorganized, and inexperienced. Despite charging an hourly rate that would be appropriate for a hot-shot attorney, she managed to lose every negotiation with opposing counsel before we even filed a response. After the first few losses when negotiating visitation, she suddenly became increasingly harder to reach. Calls would go unanswered and emails unreturned. And when I say ace, I mean like TV attorney courtroom drama good. For the same hourly rate this new firm had a staff and multiple attorneys; every phone call was answered by a receptionist, and email were timely answered. My new attorney quickly reversed Naomi's stumbles and fumbles into quick victories. It's simple: If you value your family or your money, find someone else.
