Never in a million years did I ever think I would need a defense attorney; however, life doesn't always go as planned. After being arrested for DUI at a checkpoint, I knew I needed an attorney, but was overwhelmed with the task of choosing one. I contacted a friend who is a private investigator, and ...after putting some feelers out, Tony Valente was named as the best defense attorney in the Coachella Valley. I immediately contacted Tony, who agreed to meet with me the same day; which I believe was either a Sunday, holiday. Tony enthusiastically greeted me as I entered his office, took the time to listen to my explanation of the events which led to my arrest, ask important questions, and told me he would do everything he could to help me. He and his partner, Emily, were both extremely honest and knowledgeable about the law, and always kept me informed as to the goings-on of my case. He kept me updated on his progress regularly, and genuinely cared about how I was feeling while we were waiting for the outcome. As soon as he and Emily heard word that they had won my case, he called me with the news; which of course thrilled me beyond belief. I was so fortunate to have Tony on my side.
