After consulting with 3 attorney's that told me that they couldn't do anything for me, I found Angel through a referral. Thank goodness for that! I retained her at our first meeting and she delivered exactly what she promised she could do. Chapter 7 is the only true "fresh start" and I was close on t...he means test. Making the decision to file Chapter 7 was not an easy one and because of my unique situation it was going to take an attorney who really "knew their stuff". When the unfortunate time came for me to consider bankruptcy, I considered several attorneys. I saw where Angel had received several excellent reviews and called for an appointment. I was scared to death. Worried about the impact on me, my family and my future and what the process itself would bri...ng. Angel immediately put me at ease as we met during the initial appointment. After the filing, she called (did not email like most attorneys do) to let me know it had been filed and to reassure me that the process would not be as bad as I thought. Unfortunately, my case turned out to be more complicated that we initially thought. Nonetheless, her determination and perseverance in representing me resulted in my being discharged, although later than planned. I hate to think what would have happened if anyone other than Angel had represented me during that trying time. As she had done earlier, she stayed in touch with me keeping me abreast of new developments while also checking in with me about my worries. In my opinion, there is not a finer lawyer than Angel. She understands the law, fights on behalf of her clients, but doesn’t treat those she represents as just another number on a file.

Filing bankruptcy is not something that is usually planned and hiring an attorney was something that we had never done before so finding someone we could trust and feel comfortable with was our first priority.
