Amanda Maree Brookhuis

I hired Amanda to represent me on my wrongful termination cases with the EEOC NLRB FMLA and OSHA. I paid $540 over 3 months in monthly installments and Amanda never filed in representation with the EEOC or DOL, as contracted and agreed via email. Amanda waited 2 months to file representation with the... NLRB and never requested files, documents or case status. Amanda was incompetent, never reviewed my case files and wrote a weak, insufficient OSHA rebuttal that included factually incorrect information. Ultimately, the had to had to write my own rebuttal after multiple email requests to be contacted regarding the lack of representation. Amanda was rude, disrespectful and refused to take accountability. Amanda made excuses to not being able to personally contact me and would only communicate through email. Amanda refused to provide case updates and documents and I had to send several “Final Request” emails to receive a response. Amanda submitted documents to OSHA without my knowledge or consent, which was only discovered in the documents she refused to turn over. After 3 months of poor communication and inadequate representation, I terminated legal services and requested a refund. The response was that Amanda was all of a sudden working on the OSHA case for “free”, as a courtesy because I was a returning client, which was never discussed until I requested a refund, as if allegedly representing me for “free” excused incompetent representation. Unfortunately, the numerous Google reviews echo's the exact same issues dealing with Amanda, I have also posted a Google review with supporting documentation such as emails, text messages, etc., as evidence. DO YOUR RESEARCH AND DO NOT HIRE AMANDA BROOHIUS! INTEGRITY MATTERS WHEN YOU’RE SUPPOSED TO UPHOLD THE LAW!
