Confused with the fees charges.....

Blake Thomas helped with Chime , but at what expense? They settled for $3,950.00... I had to pay $2,634.65 in contingency fees and other expenses to the attorney. I never received the check, so I asked to have it reissued. I was then charged $250 more just to have the check reissued 5 months later si...nce I never received the first one. Out of $3,950.00, I was left with only $1,066.00 that I guess I'll receive one day in the mail. The new tenant sent back all of the mail she received for me, but the post office never forwarded it to my new address due to backup and a mix-up. It was sent back to the sender. I guess I'm the only one who lost in all of this. Out of $3,950.00 I was left with $1,066.00 after all of the fees the attorney charged me after helping get some of my money back from Chime. I thought they charge 33% for contingency fees and expenses. How does that equal up to $2,917.00 and I'm only left with $1,066.00? That's not right. What was the point in getting my money back from Chime if the money was going to still go to someone else other than me. They charged $250 to reissue a check that I have to wait up to 14 days to receive in the mail. Chime isn't the only one taking money. $1,066.00 left out of a settlement of $3,950.00..... This just doesn't add up to me. They got $2,917.00 out of a settlement of $3,950.00. I received 3 emails to sign a document, but every time I tried to sign the documents, it kept saying that I don't have access to the documents. I'm left feeling defeated

Chime Scam Resolved!

I sent my son $600 via Chime, and he never received it. In speaking to Chime, I found them to be indifferent, in addition to having great difficulty with language barriers. Mr. Thomas was able to resolve the issue for me much more quickly than I expected. I appreciate his hard work to retrieve a rela...tively small amount of money. Throughout the process, he communicated clearly and promptly exactly what I could expect. Thank you!

Thank you

I was having a big problem with Chime Bank. Blake was my last hope. He kept me informed all the way through. He got me a settlement. He's terrific. Thank you Blake

We Dit it, Blake!

I contacted Blake’s law firm just days after experiencing a situation where my American Express card was somehow cloned and used at an ATM to withdraw funds. Blake contacted me back immediately and responded to any questions I had. He explained the work he would be doing and the process/timelin...e. I paid no out of pocket expenses and am set to receive 1/3 of the earnings.

Disappointed

I had a dispute with chime and it was denied. It was for $2100.00. I tried everything. Bbb, attorney general, banking ombudsmen,FDIC, anything to do with unfair treatment by a bank I contacted them. Of course I got no where until I found Blake. He was very professional, he communicated well and alway...s answered me back. Not very personal but he doesn't need to be. He's slaying it. I was under the impression he would take 1/3rd of the settlement. Yes he provided the information in the contract I signed so I know its all on me but still I can be upset. I won the settlement but I didn't even get the amount I originally disputed and lost. I thought the entire process of going to litigation was to get your money back. Otherwise why in the heck would I do it y'all? Well It was the opposite of what I thought and what is the norm. I only got 1/3 of the settlement. Is this normal? I don't understand it. For this reason I want to give him a one star. I didn't want anything but my money back. I work hard for my money and for someone just to steal it. And now I take it to ligation and still I don't have my money back. If I would have at least got the $2100.00 that I originally disputed I would have given him 4 starts. If he would have only taken 1/3 like most lawyers do in this case he would have gotten 5 stars. So disappointing. I definitely feel like I was just an opportunity for him to make big money doing next to nothing. Taking advantage of uneducated people.
