Biography
I know the unique challenges of the construction business because I actually grew up it. My Dad was a developer and I was a spec home builder from 2004-2008. I understand the opportunities, rewards, and the risks.
I’m a tech-savvy attorney with an entrepreneurial soul. After engagements with the Coffee County District Attorney’s office, Boone & Stone, and several years as a partner in Burroughs, Keene, Paulk, & Von Schuch, LLC, I have now joined with Autry, Hall, & Cook, LLP, where I can offer clients the full range of business law services.
Unlike many of my colleagues who went directly from college to law school and then into large firms, I went into business. I founded a chain of video stores in North Georgia was founder and sole proprietor of Rubix Properties, LLC, a real estate acquisition and custom residential construction and renovation firm. The ups and downs of entrepreneurship and business relationships are deep in my bones and my practice reflects this understanding.

Efficient, trustworthy lawyer
I had a small claim against a neighbor for damaging a tree on my property. I contacted Alan after a recommendation from a friend. although this is a small case and not his primary focus, he was very competent and helped me get a good resolution.
