Brilliant, Ethical, and Courteous.

I was being accused of Financial Exploitation. After meeting with Scott, he was the right attorney for me. He is Brilliant, Ethical, and Courteous. I have never been in trouble in my life, and being accused of this, was the most stressful thing I had to deal with. Scott listened to my concerns, ...and worked quickly to get my case resolved. He would always return my calls, and emails, so promptly, which was very much appreciated. I'm so greatful to have found such a fine attorney such as him.

Hired for Divorce

Mr. Johnson cared little to nothing about my case, and despite me paying him $5000+ dollars over a years time for my case to just be continued and continued for no apparent legitimate reason, I ended up getting screwed over and basically nothing at the end of it all. I got the minimum "every other w...eekend" with my kids, full $800+ child support to pay my ex, nothing from home, didn't get anywhere close to half my property, nor my dog, or anything else that was mine or anything I wanted. I feel I would have been better off simply going in on my own pro-se. He never kept me updated on anything that was going on with my case, told me things would be in the final decree, that were ofcourse never put in there also. Judge told me that my decree was written poorly and should have had much more detail about kids visitation dates/times, property settlement lists, etc, etc, .. Terrible experience, stay far away from his attorney!!!

This accuracy of this review is questionable, at best. Child support is fixed by a formula, so the fact that child support was ordered happens in every case with children. While I love dogs, I have never had a case where there was a fight over custody of a dog. Finally, there would be a court record if a judge said that a decree was written poorly. No such court record exists.

Hired Scott for a Federal Probation Violation Revocation Hearing

I hired Scott as my defense atty. For a federal probation violation, he was prompt, easy to communicate with and personable. I highly recommend his services and feel he is the best defense attorney in our area. He replied to emailed questions, even though I was asking a lot of questions, all the time.... He text me back regularly, and was very kind and friendly with myself and my fiancée. My only disappointment was the fact the judge gave me another year of supervised release, but, that is always expected with the US Gov't. In federal probation violations. Overall, my case was a win and I feel the money spent on my defense was justified because I would not have had an attorney from the federal defenders take the time to actually put a defense together, they are famous for making plea deals. And Scott actually took the time to defend me to the judge and the court.

Great experience

Scott was a perfect lawyer for this misdemeanor case. He immediately responded to any of my emails and made this case as efficient as possible for me. He made sure I got in and out of court as fast as possible and completely fought for my case. He actually cared about the outcome of my case and what ...would be best for me. I would highly suggest this lawyer.

Scott will fight for you

Having Scott Johnson as my attorney was a positive experience. All of my adult life, I’ve been a rule follower and have never had any trouble with the law; thus, when I found myself arrested and charged, I was very confused, lost, and overwhelmed. A friend referred me to Scott, so I called and made... an appointment. He was quick to meet with me, listened carefully, and took good notes. As the case progressed and all the documentation was in place, Scott thoroughly explained the legal options at hand, along with the pros and cons of each. After choosing one and then having a scheduled court date, I had numerous questions about what was going to happen. Scott took my concerns and questions seriously, and explained the mechanics of the court process. My case involved a No Contact Order (NCO) and Scott even offered to escort me to my vehicle after court so I could leave without incident. My case took more than one court appearance as the prosecution wasn’t ready. Scott Johnson, the defense, however, was ready from the start! On my final court appearance, Scott carefully explained the legal details and was sure to get all those details on the court record. The bottom line is this: If you have trouble with your vehicle, you find a good mechanic. If you have trouble with your health, you find a good physician. If you have trouble with the law, you find yourself a good lawyer. If and/or when you do, get Scott on your side! I’m truly glad he was on mine.
