I had a false claim against me 2 years ago. I immediately contacted Scott Johnson, he helped my roommate and I was clear with what the next steps are and timeline. Scott is a great lawyer!

Excellent representation

Scott Johnson is an excellent trial lawyer with an outstanding knowledge of the law. He is prepared and tenacious in the courtroom, but not overbearing. He was professional and realistic; willing to listen to all input and answer questions candidly from his client, my brother, as well as all member...s of the family who attended the trial; make carefully considered recommendations and then ultimately respect and represent his client's wishes. We had a winning outcome.

Wonderful attorney. Really knows his stuff!

Scott Johnson was an amazing, ethical attorney on my brothers trial. He couldn't have asked for a better attorney. He would meet with all the family that was there after each day of testimony and keep us in the loop about how he thought things were going. If I was ever in need of a lawyer in Washi...ngton I would definitely use Scott.

Knowledgeable, Professional, Responsive

Scott represented me in a criminal case. Throughout the many months I always felt like Scott was working for me and indeed he was. Even when he was busy with more high profile cases he always took time to keep me updated and always responded promptly to any questions I had. At trial I was impres...sed with his thoroughness, knowledge of the law and court procedures. Scott was recommended to me as "the best in the Tri-Cities." After concluding my case I agree that I couldn't have been better represented.

Its a waste of thousands of $$$

A simple contempt case that should have been done in one court appearence lasted almost 6 months. He didn't keep us posted on things happening. We would call and get an "I don't have an answer for you." It would have been easier to do the work ourselves after working with the people in his office. We... finally switched to a different attorney and the case was over with the next hearing. We got nowhere really slow with this attorney and now have a $3000 bill to show for it. Also.. the outcome of the contempt that he told us to prepare for was not what we got. We got much more than expected using a different attorney.

I have no record of a client that matches the information in this review. There are times when a client has a different expectation than the reality of the situation. There are times when an attorney and a client have trouble communicating. We strive to address those issues, and when we can't, we refund the retainer.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
