“My suspension came from a 2012 case where I did not verify my client signed a fee agreement. Due to the nature of litigation, and Covid, I was not charged by the bar until 2020. In 2023, I agreed to a 60-day suspension to resolve this old mistake. Prior to the complaint I changed my practice, paid for client management software that expedites communication and helps verify every client signs an agreement. While I wish it hadn't occurred, I have learned from it, and I'm a better attorney for it.”
